Commercial solar construction

From bare ground to grid power.

Modern4U builds utility-scale and commercial solar across Connecticut and beyond — site work, pile driving, racking, and module installation, in every season.

The mission

Solar isn't built in boardrooms. It's built by crews who show up.

Modern4U LLC is a Connecticut-based solar construction company. We take commercial and utility-scale projects from cleared dirt to energized arrays — the surveying, the foundations, the steel, and the panels.

Developers and businesses hire us for the part of solar that can't be done from a desk: keeping a build on schedule through mud season, frost, and August heat, and handing over a power plant that's ready to produce for decades.

We are here when you need us.

The build

Five phases.
One crew.

Every array in our gallery went through the same sequence. This is how a field becomes a power plant.

  1. Phase 01

    Site & survey

Clearing, grading, and drone survey. The array is staked and verified before the first truck of steel arrives.

  2. Phase 02

    Foundations

Driven piles or ballast blocks, set plumb and load-tested. Everything above ground depends on this being right.

  3. Phase 03

    Racking

Galvanized steel, torqued and set true. The bones of an asset that has to stand for thirty years of New England weather.

  4. Phase 04

    Modules

Row by row, panels land, get torqued, terminated, and inspected. This is where the site starts to look like the drawings.

  5. Phase 05

    Energized

Commissioned and producing. We hand over a working power plant — not a punch list.

All seasons

Winter doesn't move the deadline.

Snow, frost, short days — our crews build through the seasons. The schedule your project was financed on is the schedule we keep.

The crew

The crew
who shows up.

Foremen, operators, installers — the people who drive the piles, set the steel, and land the panels behind every array in our gallery.
